The carriage is a vis-ą-vis that was custom built in 1996 by Paul Raber of Raber Wheel Works, Montgomery, IN. Being Amish made, it is of the finest quality.
A vis-ą-vis is also known as a Victoria or a Sociable. These carriages became popular in the United States in the late nineteenth century. Vis-ą-vis is a French term meaning face to face. The two passenger seats face each other. The carriage can sit 4 comfortably and 6 tightly.
